A smile from ear to ear, that gotta be Ille!
It all started in a cozy Italian restaurant in Neukölln, a favorite spot of mine. I walked in, familiar with the warm ambiance. Our table for four was set, but only one person was there, happy as a tail-wagging DAWG. That was Ille. The positive energy radiating from him was undeniable. Beside him, a tote bag brimming with about 20 vinyl records hinted at the musical journey we were about to embark on post-dinner.
Our mutual friends, who had orchestrated this meet-up, were running late, leaving Ille and me in an impromptu blind date situation. We laughed non-stop, instantly bonding over the vibrant world of House Music and its incredible scene. It was a serendipitous beginning, laying the foundation for a great friendship.
Today, I'm thrilled to present Ille's set in my mix series, a testament to that unforgettable night and the passion we both share for House Music. Big thanks to our friends for making this connection happen!
Ille and his lovely lady Lara have since founded a wholesome community event series called 'Beats and Bottles,' which is about to happen for the third time end of August. I was happy to be invited and am even happier to give Ille the opportunity to present his bouncy and groovy house selection in my personal format.
